专辑背景
2008年收录了曲目《只看着我》的太阳的首张迷你专辑《Hot》，可以说是足以能在歌谣界上做上记录的一股热潮。
继迷你专辑，太阳在此部专辑中也参与策划，就像专辑名《Solar》那样，体现了他13岁开始到23岁为止10年来梦想的音乐。
主打曲《I Need A Girl》由全君作曲，从练习的时候开始和太阳同甘共苦的G-Dragon参与制作，使人期待。以简单的旋律和甜美的太阳的声音为特点的《I Need A Girl》是一首唱出所有男人理想型的歌曲。
此外，该专辑中还有《Superstar》、《Break Down》等具有华丽而雄壮的节奏的曲目，类似《Just A Feeling》的强节奏的曲目和被很多梦幻而温暖的钢琴声和太阳所具有的魅力声音填满的《You're My》等只有在正规专辑中才能见到的曲目。
