吴缅,中国科学技术大学生命科学学院教授,博士生导师。中科院百人计划引进人才。1953年1月生,江苏苏州市人。1982年本科毕业于南京师范大学生物系,1984年获美国哥伦比亚大学生物化学硕士,1988年获哥伦比亚大学分子生物学博士,1988-1990美国哈佛大学细胞发育系的博士后。

研究方向
1、 肿瘤细胞凋亡/生存的分子机制,实验室集中研究的蛋白有:肿瘤抑制因子P53和ARF等; 凋亡诱导因子Siah-1、bad等以及抗肿瘤因子Pirh2等。我们实验室感兴趣的是各个分子之间的“对话(cross-talk)”以及由此产生的细胞功能。
2、 蛋白质的翻译后修饰,尤其是蛋白质磷酸化和泛素化修饰,我们对Survivin-△Ex3、Siah-1/Siah1S、Pirh2以及P53的磷酸化及泛素化研究有较为深入的研究
3、 除了线粒体凋亡途径以及受体凋亡途径外,我们实验室主要集中在细胞核凋亡信号网络的研究,我们发现Caspase-8的激活以及Pirh2的磷酸化都与细胞核紧密相联
4、 肿瘤对药物的抗性与细胞凋亡机制的损坏密切相关,实验利用Microarray找到了一些novel 的抗紫杉醇的基因,正在研究这些上调或下调的基因在抗紫杉醇中的分子机理。
主要贡献
2000年,中国科学技术大学生命科学学院“百人计划”教授、博士生导师。承担过国家973项目4项,任课题组长。2006年以来,连续三次承担国家基金委重点项目,并承担中科院先导项目子课题负责人。多年来,在肿瘤细胞凋亡/生存的信号转导及分子机制,非编码RNA调控肿瘤发生发展的分子机理,p53与细胞代谢及诱导性多能干细胞调控的分子机制方面做了一些开创性的工作。在SCI杂志上发表论文60多篇,包括在国际上具有重要影响力的期刊,如Nature Cell Biology,Molecular Cell, Nature Communications,PNAS, 和EMBO Journal等.被引用超过2900次。
