四川大学动物保护协会成立于2006年，是一个致力于宣传动物保护思想的社团。

自成立至今，一直就提高大学生动物保护意识，树立大学生良好的社会形象，增强大学生社会责任感，宣传与促进动物保护工作，扶助社会动物保护机构展开实践工作，呼唤人性真爱与自然和谐等方面而进行着锲而不舍的努力。协会成立至今已经有了完善的规章制度与分工明确的组织机构。在短短的二年里，经过几届会员的一直努力，我们所做的努力受到了学校师生和社会人士的肯定。同时，我们不断完善和改进自身工作方式，组织机构以及各项规章，协会各项工作有条不紊。

The association of Animal Protection of Sichuan University was established in 2006, devoting it to publicizing the idea of animal protection. Since it was established, it has been working with perseverance to improve the undergraduates’ sense of protecting animals, build up a good image of undergraduates, strengthen the sense of social responsibility of undergraduates, propagate and promote the protection of animals, assist social animal protection organizations carry out actions and call for the love of humanity and the harmony of nature. The association has perfect regulations and a clear division of working departments today. In the past two years, with the efforts of all of the members, our achievements have been confirmed by the teachers and students and also the society. Meanwhile, we constantly improve our working methods, better the regulations and organizations. And all the work is in an orderly manner.

2006-9成立隶属于四川大学华西公共卫生学院

2006-10开始持续举办“流浪的天使系列活动”

2007-3开始持续举办“拯救黑熊，弃用熊胆”系列宣传活动

2007-4参加成都市地区第二届观鸟大赛

2008-3参加成都市第三观鸟大赛

2008-4月荣升为校级协会

与成都观鸟会保持合作，定期带领会员去成都市指定地点观鸟、开展爱之家志愿活动、参观黑熊基地、大熊猫基地
