姚中本，1949年进入圣约翰大学医学院，1955年毕业于上海第二医学院。曾主编本学科专业书多种，主持多项国际合作、国家计生委及卫生部的科研项目，并多次获奖。多次代表国家卫生部在国际会议上宣读论文和介绍经验。擅长治疗疑难不孕症（包括人工受精、试管婴儿等辅助受孕），优生咨询，孕前检查和计划受孕，先供职于上海长江医院。

The doctor studied in the medical college of the saint john’s university in 1949, and graduated from the shanghai secondly medical college in 1955.She edited many professional books , held the international medical meeting and the state healthy department’s meeting and got the success. She specializes in the infertility (including AI and IVF) check before pregnant and planning pregnant.

She worked as the associate director for the Chinese family planning commission and the vice director for the Shanghai family planning commission, and so on. Now she is the member of the reproductive health of the ministry of health, the expert of the mother’s and children’s healthy committee and the professor of treatment in the international hospital for women and children.
