李钟杰，1957年生，中国科学院水生生物研究所研究员、淡水生态学研究中心副主任，中国水产学会渔业资源与环境分会委员，水生生物学报编委。1996年国务院政府特殊津贴人员，1997年湖北省有突出贡献中青年专家。

1982年1月本科毕业于中山大学生物系，理学学士。1986年—1990年参加国家重点科技攻关计划课题“我国鱼、虾营养标准及检测技术研究”，1991年—1995年参加国家重点科技攻关专题“小型草型湖泊渔业综合高产技术研究”，1996年—2000年参与主持“九五”国家重点科技攻关计划专题“湖群规模化养殖技术研究”和中国科学院“九五”重大课题“典型湖泊渔业资源调控及优质高效模式研究”。1997年—1997年主持国家自然科学基金项目“湖泊食鱼性鱼类生产潜力估算方法”。1998年6月—12月，美国密歇根州立大学渔业与野生动物系访问学者。2001年以来，主持“十五”国家重点科技攻关计划专题“大水面鳜鱼生态养殖技术研究”和湖北省科技攻关重大项目“名优水产健康高效养殖技术研究及产业化开发”。2003年参与“863”水专项有关富营养湖泊鱼类控藻、世界自然基金会有关湿地渔业对策的研究。还参与湖北省、武汉市有关鳜、长吻鮠、河豚养殖等科研项目和一些地方水产产业化开发项目。近年致力研究湖泊渔业生态系统的结构、功能特征及渔业生态技术调控机理，建立无公害淡水渔业增养殖模式，保护渔业水体生态环境。
