《玉》是2020年张艺兴第四张专辑《莲》先行曲，是一首融合国风元素和西方轨道的M-POP音乐。

《玉》名字的由来源于千年前动人故事中的“宁为玉碎，不为瓦全”，也源于英语中“You”的谐音，串联古今，沟通中外，张艺兴的《玉》有颂古通今、“中西合璧”之意。《玉》将中国传统元素与流行元素结合，用嘻哈的方式讲述古代的故事。

《玉》由张艺兴联手制作人Murda Beatz共同完成，歌曲由一段经典的京剧intro做引，再在张艺兴的葫芦丝和仿古音乐的采样中加入Murda独特的鼓点，中国传统乐器的声音张力和欧美嘻哈的简洁动感结合，形成互补之姿，再有张艺兴的独特唱腔加成，整个歌曲魅力十足，令人惊艳。值得注意的是，张艺兴在歌曲中创新加入女旦唱腔，使得歌曲层次更为丰富，而副歌中不断重复的“玉、玉、玉”，将流行元素和洗脑旋律完美结合，行成歌曲中不可或缺的记忆点，雅俗共赏，巧妙精美。
