翟季冬,男,工学博士,清华大学计算机系长聘教授,博士生导师。国家杰出青年科学基金获得者,高性能所副所长,主要从事并行计算、编程语言与编译器、性能评测等领域的研究工作。担任清华大学学生超算团队教练,指导的团队十三次获得世界冠军。

2020年9月,为了表彰翟季冬博士在高性能计算机的编程模型、编译优化和性能测试方面所作出的突出贡献,CCF与IEEE CS决定授予他2020年“CCF-IEEE CS青年科学家奖”。
2021年11月19日,由翟季冬指导的清华大学计算机系组建的学生超算团队在国际大学生超算竞赛(SC21)中代表清华大学夺得总冠军,实现SC竞赛四连冠。
