蔡演军 男,1974年4月生。中国科学院地球环境研究所研究员,博士生导师。先后承担和参与国家重点基础研究规划子课题、国家自然科学基金面上、重点和重大项目以及中国科学院重要方向性项目等研究项目。现任地球环境研究所所长助理。
西安交通大学双聘教授。

西北大学地质系,地质学专业学习,获
理学学士学位。1997年9月-2003年6月
中国科学院地球环境研究所(硕博连读),第四纪地质学专业,获博士学位。毕业后进入
地球环境研究所工作,从事洞穴石笋与全球变化的研究工作。2002年7月-9月, 2006年2-8月先后在
美国明尼苏达大学进行ICP-MS铀系测年的学习和访问研究工作。
主要成就
主要从事岩溶石笋记录的气候环境变化,以及含人类化石洞穴地层及其铀系测年的研究工作。
(1)揭示南半球气候对冰期千年尺度印度季风的影响;发现印度季风降水变化具有冰期-间冰期旋回的变化,结合数值模拟,回答了东部季风区石笋δ18O记录与海洋和黄土等记录在冰期-间冰期尺度变化不同的问题;
(2)首次在青藏高原上开展洞穴石笋研究,对高原南部冰心氧同位素的解释和降水同位素古高度重建提出新认识;
(3)揭示全新世夏季风降水南北差异的变化特点,提出东亚大陆温度以及西太平洋海温通过调制
副热带高压而对我国夏季风降雨产生重要影响;
(4)通过铀系定年,确定广西智人化石的埋藏年代不晚于10万年,为东亚最古老早期现代人的发现做出贡献。
(5)对湖南道县福岩洞开展洞穴地层和铀系测年研究,确定古人类牙齿化石的年龄为距今8-12万年
(6)通过新疆全新世石笋记录和数值模拟的对比分析,指出东地中海、黑海、里海以及周边区域再蒸发水汽贡献对我国新疆地区降水及其同位素组成的重要影响,为内陆干旱区石笋氧同位素解译提供了新认识。
