研究方向
长期从事同步辐射X射线方法学研究,尤其是X射线相干性的应用研究。主要从事X射线散斑法在团簇结构动力学研究中的应用、软X射线扫描显微实验站设计、软X射线光谱显微及应用研究。

主要成就
长期从事同步辐射技术及应用研究。自主研制成功我国第一台碳吸收边处能量分辨率超过一万的变包含角平面光栅单色器,主持研制成功世界最好能量分辨率的“梦之线”光束线,研制成功同时具有高空间分辨能力和高能量分辨能力的软X 射线谱学显微光束线和实验站,提出能量相比元素衬度分析方法并成功应用到二维纳米材料的环境催化研究,提出相干X 射线散斑谱技术研究铁电材料相变过程、从纳米团簇层面理解材料高性能本质的新思路。主要研究方向为X射线相干性在纳米显微、纳米加工、以及纳米团簇结构动力学表征等领域的方法学研究及应用研究。
