李百炼
北京林业大学特聘教授
李百炼,1957年12月出生,美籍华人,博士。前美国北卡罗莱纳州立大学国际事务办公室行政高级教务长,北卡州立大学环境资源学院正教授,北美林木遗传改良协作组主任,国际林联IUFRO第二学部“树木生理与森林遗传”负责人,国际著名林学杂志《Forest Science》和《Canadian Journal of Forest Research》副主编,瑞典农业大学、澳大利亚昆士兰大学、芬兰赫尔辛基大学北京林业大学等多所著名大学的兼职教授和博士生导师。
人物经历
1982年毕业于北京林业大学资源学院林学专业,获农学学士学位;
1983年赴美就读于北卡罗莱纳州立大学森林系,先后分别在1985年和1989年获硕士及博士学位;毕业后作为博士后受聘于美国最大的林业公司Weyerhaeuser公司;
1991年到美国明尼苏达大学森林资源系任该系遗传研究课题的研究员和主任;
1995年回到北卡罗莱纳州立大学森林系执教,于1997年擢升为副教授,2004年擢升为教授。
研究方向
多年来一直从事林木遗传育种和生物技术专业领域的教学、科研、技术和成果转化等方面的工作,开发了估计遗传参数和育种值等的最新遗传模型和分析方法,建立了林木遗传改良最全面的合作数据库。已在国际著名杂志上发表论文一百余篇,被引用次数高达二千多次。由于在国际上享有很高的荣誉,应邀为十余份专业遗传杂志的审阅和编辑并多次在重大国际学术会议上被邀请作特邀报告。主持了十余项重大课题,研究总经费超过一千万元。
