曹道民，男，湖南常宁人，1963年生，数学家，曾任中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院应用数学研究所所长、研究员、博士生导师。现任广州大学数学与信息科学学院院长。先后在湘潭大学数学系获学士、硕士学位，1989年在中科院武汉数学物理研究所获博士学位。

1979年9月至1983年8月 湘潭大学数学系基础数学专业学习，获学士学位

1983年9月至1986年7月 湘潭大学数学系计算数学专业学习，获硕士学位

1986年9月至1989年6月 中科院武汉数学物理研究所攻读博士学位

1989年6月 获博士学位

1989年7月至1996年4月 中国科学院武汉数学物理研究所工作，历任助理研究员、副研究员、研究员

1996年 入选中国科学院“百人计划”到中科院应用数学所工作

1996年至今 在中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院任研究员

现任：

中科院数学与系统科学研究院应用数学研究所所长

中科院数学与系统科学研究院研究员、博士生导师

主要从事非线性偏微分方程和非线性变分问题的研究，特别是应用非线性分析，如临界点理论来研究非线性偏微分方程解的存在性，多解性等。
